Children
Children are an important part of the Sunnyview family and their safety and well-being is essential. Parents are always welcome to observe any of our children's groups.
Nursery is available for those from newborns to 2 years of age. The nursery is located just outside the sanctuary entrance and there is a one-way mirror in the hallway so parents can peek in without being seen. (Sunday 9:15 am for SunnySchool and 10:30 am for Worship service)
SunnySchool is unlike any Sunday School. At Sunnyview we use a fun and progressive curriculum. There are even Adult classes and Nursery care so the whole family can go to SunnySchool. (Sunday 9:15 am)
Children's Church takes place halfway through the main worship service. This means the family starts in the sanctuary, and then just after the offering, children leave the sanctuary for a time of interactive learning and return before the closing song in the sanctuary. (Sunday 10:30 am, ages 3-8)
Keepers of the Faith is an afternoon children's program that encourages children from ages 3 - 11 to a closer walk with the Lord. Activities include a time of devotions, Bible memorization, games, and a variety of special projects to help encourage skill development. Your kids will enjoy this special time on Sunday evenings. (Sunday 5 – 7 pm September though May)
Vacation Bible School is offered for one week each year. The focus of VBS is to encourage children to grow in their relationship with the Lord and to interact with one another as they learn more about the Bible.
Other events are the Christmas and Easter programs and the Fall Festival. Please check our calendar and stop by the Welcome Center located in the lobby for more information.
